seriously impressed by the way you made the veins pop, and the way you distorted the musculature but still kept it within reason, see too many people think that you can take the simple human body and then just keep throwing more strands of muscle until they wind up looking like a pile of half deflated balloons.
excellent shading as has been said, I like the rest of your gallery too, just figured I'd comment on this one. it feels under appreciated, I love traditional work. Peace!
Funny how the way you described this with attentive detail. When drawing this I was very attentive paying attention loosely with anatomy, but still it was just a pure extraction without much thought of such details. For me when drawing this ooberly distorted creature, anatomy was kept in mind, but it was executed without strong consideration to accuracy. I would describe the execution as expressionistic. Yes, pure extraction and passion to making luv to the form etc. Sculpting literally as well. Part of the reason the veins 'op' and other areas as well is because this particular sheet of paper was thick yet soft. I did this in humid Florida air as well, so I really had to dig and grind into the paper pertaining to the rendering.
Glad you like the gallery and appreciate this drawing. Be sure to keep a *watch* down mate. In the future there is going to be a diverse mix of stylistic things I think y'll like. So yeah, keep in touch mate, I dig your analysis
They all have back stories, I could tell you his back story today, but tomorrow it would be different. It all depends on the moment of my mood. Yes, My works are my children. As your footnote says... Children are evil watch your backs. I don't watch my back, I face the little fuckers. Embrace all evils, to abolish disaster in the flux of your reality. That's what Vic here did, HA!
